MISSIONS
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” -Matthew 25:40
Sis Danielle Jackson, a young doctoral student who works diligently to keep missions in the forefront of our ministry, heads our Mission’s department. The fourth Sunday in each month is our designated Missions day, where those on the frontline of missions are invited to inform us of active caring projects in order that we may help financially or in any way that is needed.
Currently, we are collecting funds and contributing to the Imani School in Ghana under the direction of Dr Francine Fulton, to the health initiative of Dr. Pat Jones in the Dominican Republic, to the ministry trip to Haiti of Dr. Robert Jones, and have adopted a class at the Rhoades School in West Philadelphia to help financially with their educational needs. Our belief is that mission/outreach starts at home and spreads abroad.
We encourage you to help us in our goal to double our contributions to ministry outside of our doors.
